Here are how most all of the carriage trails are marked---as you come to an intersection. There is a triangular island ahead with sign posts on each corner to clearly give you directions. Still though---it is best to have a trail map---for sometimes the wrong trail picked may still get you to where you want to go---but take twice as long as another. Grubby knows. He's picked wrong trails before---lol.
