Grubby had been noticing these parallel holes all along the trail. Sometimes people walk with ski piles. But these were like 2 feet wide and 7 feet between strides. No one has a long stride like that. So grubby couldn't figure what they were. But that was early in the morning. As the day went on the road dried so that other marks stood out more. Now Grubby could see some sort of wheels that left a long sliding sort of mark. So grubby feels sure this was someone on roller blades or roller skis or something like that.
